Peer-to-peer car service (他人同士の車両融通サービス）

Ridesharing is a peer-to-peer car service under which car owners rent out their cars to other people.

ライドシェアリングは車の所有者が他の人々に自分の車を貸し出す、他人同士の車両融通サービスだ。

※rent out = 貸し出す

 

Ban the sale (販売禁止）

UK government, following France and Norway, is planning to ban the sale of new diesel and gasoline cars starting in 2040 to help reduce air pollution.

フランス、ノルウェーに続いてイギリス政府も大気汚染軽減のためにディーゼルとガソリンの新車販売を2040年から禁止する予定だ。

NEV policy (新エネルギー車政策）

Under China’s NEV policy, very tough sales quota for EVs and plug-in HEVs is expected to be introduced.

中国の新エネルギー車政策では、電気自動車とプラグインハイブリッド車の販売台数に非常に厳しいノルマが課されると予想されている。

※NEV = New Energy Vehicle, 新エネルギー車

※sales quota = 販売ノルマ

※EVs = electric vehicles, 電気自動車

※plug-in HEVs = プラグインハイブリッド

 

Incentive (販売奨励金）

ALG forecasts the incentives in overall industry to go up 20%.
ALGは自動車業界の奨励金が全般的に20％上昇すると予想している。
※ ALG = Automotive Leasing Guide のこと。米国で車種の適正残価を示すガイドライン。ここでの残価が良いと値引きを抑えることができる。
※ Incentive = 値引き等の原資になる奨励金のこと。車が売れなくなると奨励金が増える傾向を示す。（値引き拡大で売れるようにもっていくため）しかし将来の残価には悪影響となる。
